A-1.) It’s a liquid nano-ceramic layer applied on top of your car’s paint. Once cured, it forms a hard, transparent shield that improves gloss, resists UV, water, and dirt, and makes washing easier. 

A-2.) Depending on the package, ceramic coating can last 2–5 years. 

• UNC-V1 is around 2 years, 
• UNC-V2 about 3 years,
• UNC-R up to 5 years with proper care. 

A-3.) No. 

Ceramic coating helps resist light scratches and swirl marks, but it cannot stop stone chips or dents. For impact protection, paint protection film (PPF) is required. 

A-4.) No regular waxing is needed. 

Ceramic coating provides longer-lasting gloss and protection than wax. Some owners choose to use maintenance sprays for extra shine, but it’s optional.

A-5.) Wash with pH-neutral shampoo and use soft microfiber towels. 

Avoid automatic car washes with brushes. With simple care, the coating will last much longer. 

A-6.) Avoid washing for the first 5–7 days. 

The coating needs curing time. 

During this period, a light rainbow or haze may appear — it is normal and will clear.

A-7.) All Max Protect coatings come with written warranty: UNC-V1 (2 years), UNC-V2 (3 years), UNC-R (5 years). 

Warranty covers coating performance under normal use, not damage from accidents or improper washing. 

A-8.) Yes. 

With strong UV, heavy rain, and dust, ceramic coating reduces fading, makes cleaning faster, and keeps your car looking glossy longer. 

It’s a practical upgrade for both daily cars and premium models.
